"Ostar" is the romantic pairing of Star Butterfly and Oskar Greason.
History[]
In "Cheer Up Star", Star develops a crush on Oskar when she sees him. She first heard his music, and while everyone else disliked it, Star becomes enamored immediately. She sees Oskar and fantasizes about him and her together. She puts her number on a sticky not saying, "Call me" and placed it in his Keytar.
Star continuously waits for Oskar's call, only to be disappointed when it doesn't come. She becomes sad and lies unhappily on her bed. Later though, Oskar calls her and they ask to get together. Star is very happy about this.
In "Mewberty", Star sees Oskar while she's in her mewberty form and flies towards him. Marco catches her in
a net but eventuallloses his gripgo, and she flies at Oskar. Star carries Oskar and his car up to the sky, and after a while, they fall back to earth.
In "Star on Wheels", Oskar helps Marco to rescue Star from a runaway bike when she is unable to stop. At the end of that episode, Star also offers to give Oskar a lift on the bike, since his car broke down.
In "Girl's Day Out", Star says she's got Oskar wrapped around her finger, but upon seeing him she begins drooling. She is rendered speechless, standing with a dopey smile. After Janna asks instead, Oskar agrees to give them batteries. Later in that episode, Oskar tells them stories, and Star listens intently (while Janna is bored). After that, she thanks Oskar for the batteries and runs off.
In "Sleepover", when asked who was her crush Star says Oskar Greason, although Ponyhead's "truth or punishment" game says someone is lying, and at the end of the episode it is revealed that star was the liar.
In "Star Crushed", Oskar and Star talk to each other and actually talked to each other for more than five words at a time. Oskar tells Star that they should hang out over the Summer, and Star accepts. They sit on the front of a car, and Oskar puts out his fist for a fist-bump. Star admits that she's not very good at them, but Oskar says he doesn't mind. Star puts her hand on Oskar's, and Oskar blushes as shown in the photo above.
Canon Probability[]
Originally, Star had a huge crush on Oskar. She always began drooling and was speechless whenever she saw him. But during "Starcrushed", she didn't seem as interested in Oskar, due to her developing crush on Marco. Unfortunately for fans of this cute ship, with starco (Star x Marco) becoming and remaining official by the finale, ostar is one of many ships in this show that have sank.
